Solutions
In this age of incredible economic and technological abundance, it is important to make sure everybody has an opportunity to succeed.
At Beautiful California, we are committed to delivering real, lasting solutions that lift individuals out of poverty and homelessness. From providing access to safe housing and nutritious food, to offering job training and mental health services, we believe in building pathways to stability and self-sufficiency. Together, we can ensure that every Californian has the chance to thrive, no matter their circumstances.
Approach
We chose a mobile app approach because it is practical and inclusive. The app is in-development and planned for release between December 2024 and January 2025 with availability on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Access to information can improve lives for the better, particularly for individuals who are at-risk, low-income, or experiencing homelessness. According to a USC research study, over 94% of homeless individuals own a mobile phone[1], making an app-based solution both practical and inclusive. By leveraging this accessibility, our app bridges the gap between those in need and the critical resources available to them. With just a few taps, individuals can find housing, food, healthcare, job training, and more—empowering them with the tools to rebuild their lives and regain stability. This approach embodies our mission of creating pathways to opportunity for all Californians.
